A user who clicks on a urlcount url will first be taken to a page where they can view the URL behind it. We have introduced this to limit the fraudulent use of this service. Member Benefits

We now offer membership to our site. We offer a free basic membership option, which allows you to report on all your URLs that you have shrunk with us since you became a member. Simply log into your member account and create your short URL. You will then see the report option in the menu to your left.

There is also a $ 5.00 US (one time fee) standard membership option available. The standard membership allows the user that clicks on one of the urlcount links to go directly to the shortened URL, without having to go to the preview site.

UrlCount is a service to provide you an easy way to shorten any long URLs. We also provide you with some basic statistical information about the number of times people clicked on your link.

There is also a fee based membership option available, which provides you with additional reporting functionality. The fee based option allows you to bypass the default preview setting for URLs submitted. This allows the user to go straight to your URL without visiting the urlcount.com site first.

You are not allowed to use URLCount for illegal purposes or spamming. Any such use will result in the URL being disabled and we may report you to the proper government agencies and all ISP's involved. The service is provided without any warranty of any kind.
